Yep.  I'm old.  I've made a great career writing Java business applications and I've really enjoyed doing it; however, with the advent of \"modern VR games\" I've been straight-up inspired.  That love for game making that drove me to take CS101 many years ago has been re-awakened.\n\nI saw a post on Reddit about the LD39 game jam.  I've seen them posted before, but the game-making monster in me was not yet awakened.  This time, however, I took the opportunity and I'm glad I did.\n\nT H A N K   Y O U\n\nSeriously, thank you to everyone.  I had an absolute blast making [Leaf Runner](https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/39\/leaf-runner) which is basically Dope Wars combined with GTA1 style movement in a ... you guessed it, \"Nizan Leaf.\"  Running out of power wasn't my first choice for a theme, but in the end, I'm happy I got the chance to make this game.\n\nTomorrow I go back to work.
