"Am I doing something wrong?" or "My first jam mistakes"

Hello!

As I said before, ше was my first time in game jam and know I want to sum up some moments:

1) Ambitions.

Of course, I've wanted to make a great game of interest but I forgot one simple thing ... I have only 2 days for Compo and if I miss this deadline (as I did) 3 days for Jam. The first idea was to make a game with a little story, cool fighting, art, and animations, but then I thought and rethought the game concept for a little easer to develop. For next LD I'll do something easier with more interesting gameplay.

2) Sleep.

Yes, I saw the video about surviving at LD. But I slept now enough and my brain was exhausted at the end of the jam. Keep you mind clear and sleep enough.

3) Routine.

If you are tired with programming or drawing - just take a breath, do something else, maybe even just other tasks. Making games should be a fun process and you shouldn't want to kill yourself after big tasks. And of course do something active time by time, push ups and etc.

Anyway, that was a really great experience for me and definitely, I'll join next jam with new ideas!

P.S. Sorry for my English if I made mistakes :D
