It was very hard on me, but the experience was well worth it. I decided to go with 2D platformer, because I felt it was something I could do in the given time. So after a long weekend I have managed to finish something of a game. I did not accomplish everything I had set out to, but I'm proud of it nonetheless.\n\nThings I wish I could have done more of include:\n\n-More NPCs at the base.\n\n-Enemies attack the NPCs when the light is low.\n\n-More sound effects and particles.\n\n-Music. I did end up making some, but it didn't fit the mood well enough and I didn't have time to adjust it.\n\n-A BIG one is animations for the Player and NPC. There are no jumping or walking animations :(\n\n-Better UI.\n\nThis jam I learned the importance of quick iteration and leaving a mess of your project to get it done XD. I had fun though. I would really appreciate it if you gave the game a try and thanks in advance to anyone who does. I will be playing games later in the week when I have the time.
