Yeah so some tiles
I guess I need to make a player now. Yay.

I decided to join in on the fun on the 3rd day of the jam, with no intention to do so beforehand. Not only that, but I missed most of the morning and afternoon due to school. Some things are simply not possible for mortals, so it's entirely possible that my soul will burn up in the process, but that's a risk I'm willing to take.
Missed last LD due exams. Sure I'll be free for this one. Will use either Unity+C# or Java+Slick2D. Good luck people.
Have an idea to make a dungeon crawler in which the player starts with no stats. Had a long day, so going to get some rest. Best of luck, have fun!
Looks like I'll be entering the Jam. Excuse: spent most of this weekend on the move visiting my family. Most of the code has been written on or waiting for the train. What are assets? I haven't seen any assets.
Not stressed yet; still having fun and hoping everyone else is too.
Very busy weekend and Monday. Sometimes your circumstances just don't match Ludum Dare. Good luck to everyone who has and will submit :)
Gonna press some buttons and make a video game
By my standards at least. Little else so far, other than a placeholder enemy. All things considered, everything is fiiine.
Gameplay? Hahaha, never heard of it.
AAAAAA
Give it a go if you feel like: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/vegetation-station
Would've been a compo game if I could manage my time better. Unfortunately, time is a nebulous mess to me.
almost forgot to make an "I'm in" post! Oh, how far I have fallen.
Decent idea in the works, which has already birthed a nice little sprite and some lovely code that doesn't have very visual output yet. Here's the sprite:
Yep, most of my game development recently has been in some nice low level C++, so a return to C# and Unity might be a breath of fresh air.
worth a try to see if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong here. Even when the doInteraction method is called, interactionStarted remains false. TriggerDialogue is definitely called... just this field won't change! Asking out of desperation haha
Worked right up to the deadline, then had an absolute nightmare packaging the game up, but here it is! Hooray: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/finding-nemoth

Loving this new "Extra" format. I have a dissertation due, so might be nice if I'm too busy for the compo.
Woah I forgot this was happening. Haven't been able to finish a ludum dare in years, maybe this will be the one (':
Not bad, wanna shoot some eyeballs? What does this have to delivery? Um. (:
