What Went Wrong
-The combination of timing and a sliding puzzle with limited moves was somewhat questionable. Some people think it's fresh and unique, while others think it is a bad combination.
-The theme. Yes, the theme. When I think about it, A Small World was probably my least favorite of the final 16(I think it's 16) themes. That normally happens though. This was the case with LD 35, LD 37, and of course, this LD. I actually liked the theme in LD 36. My game for that one turned out well and got lots of positive feedback. Unfortunately there weren't ratings for that LD.
-The music was somewhat questionable, because a few people didn't really like it(most did though).
-I didn't put enough levels in. I found out that usually people only play LD games for 3-5 minutes before rating, which resulted in my games usually not getting fully played. I tried to fix that by only making 3 levels. But based on feedback, that was a bit fewer levels than was ideal.
What Went Right
-The art went really well. I was trying out a new art style and people seemed to like it. I also got lucky and ran into a surface resizing function that also had a weird side effect that made the display look cool. Anyway, this has been a huge improvement on the quality of my art.

-I liked the music and most people did too. It still needs improvement though.
-There were almost no bugs. The closest thing to a bug was the original font color in the intro. It was barely visible if you didn't have the right color settings on your monitor.
-The mechanics turned out to be smooth and bugless. It felt very responsive and impactful(due to some extra polish). The mechanics may have been a bad idea, but it turned out good for what they were.
-The level design was good. Each level used the exact same obstacles and mechanics, but they were all still very different. I might have designed the levels to be a bit too hard. xD
Who do I blame for this? .-.

A world cloud based on word frequency in comments. How original...

xD Showed up in there.
Here's something unique. A word cloud of my comments(notice that I didn't use "really" a lot):

How did this happen? xD

I'm getting really close to 50 ratings. I know I only need 20, but I love feedback! :D

It would be great if you could leave a comment on my game!

In general, I did way better this time. :P
Enjoy a graph of my 3 Ludum Dare scores:

My laptop's hard drive died recently and is currently getting fixed. I managed to get access to another laptop for the event. I was also able to save my important files from my laptop's hard drive(including my game engine). The computer I'm working with has about 10MB of memory left after installing python, pygame, and cx_freeze, so I'll be working mostly on a flash drive. It also has 2 GB of RAM, so this is gonna be tricky to work with. Still glad I can enter though! This is my 5th Ludum Dare. I haven't missed a single one and I didn't plan on missing this one.
What I'm using: - MS Paint or Px Editor(a pixel art tool I made for my raspberry pi) - Python - Pygame - SFXR or the mysterious place of outside(not sure if you guys have heard of this, but it's a great way to get audio) - Beepbox.co(pretty much my only option for music) - A cheap laptop I got my hands on
I almost ended up entering the LD on my raspberry pi. heh
Look at mah twooter!
The create post button is missing for some reason, so I wrote this post by editing an old un-published draft. xD

lel
Did some concept art along with some tileset/character animation stuff.
Had to use a link because the upload option is broken right now. >.>
So this is a thing: Amazing GIF that's definitely worth your time(plz click ;-;)
After some optimization, I got Python to handle 1,366 particles at once on top of the actual game. xD
Boom I plan on adding even more polish to the "destruction of airships" tomorrow when I do the audio and extra polish. >.>
Finished the core of the game! ^_^

Sadly, the computer I'm working with doesn't have enough RAM to record that much in the normal resolution. >.>
It'd be great if someone could give me some feedback!
I just checked and apparently my game would've worked for 7 out of the 16 final themes. xD
Just finished uploading everything. :3

Please give feedback if you do try it!
My hard drive died and I used someone else's laptop to make my game, but this laptop either doesn't have enough ram or disk space to run the LD games. Usually the computer just crashes from maxing out ram without swap space.
I still need ratings though, so please check out my game. ;-;

P.S. My game maxes out the CPU instead of RAM or using a ton of hard drive space, so it's one of the very few games I can run. xD
