That’s not a GTA like if you can’t steal helicopters or tanks.

Back to Ludum Dare :) I'm super excited!
Here is my toolset:
- language: Haxe (see haxe.org), probably publishing to HTML5
- art: Photoshop + TexturePacker
- music: Bosca Ceoil (http://boscaceoil.net/)
- sfx: LabChirp
- Chronolapse
First screenshot, prototyping!
I'm still tweaking the physics & controls to make sure that your character controls are super smooth :)
You try to pilot a large aerostat, fleeing something awful that tries to destroy it. Keep every system onboard up and running and make sure you never never never run out of energy, or you will, well... die, you know.

Wooot, got featured in the latest LD keynote from @alexRose (https://twitter.com/AlexRoseGames)! Sweet sweet sweet. But now it's kick some bear ass and get into Ludum Dah-ré too :)
My tools this weekend:
- Haxe language + Heaps framework
- Photoshop
- Arkos Tracker 1 (experimental!!) for the music
- LabChirp for the sfx part (http://labbed.net/software/labchirp/)
- maybe some Chiptone too for the sfx (http://sfbgames.com/chiptone/)
Have fun everyone :)

So my challenge for this LD is to make a turn based action game that doesn't feel turn based. 'Cause it's action. Second challenge is to make this game in less than 24h, so I can come back to my new daddy responsibilities asap :)
Things are coming up nicely so far :)

See a short video of the thing here:

Airplane mode!
This LD will be a very special one for me: I'll try to make my game during my travel back from Taipei GDF :)
Airplane mode! :-O
I'm not sure about anything, the travel is quite long, but it's like, super short for a jam session... So we will see.
My usual tools:
- Haxe language + Heaps framework
- Haxe develop IDE
- Photoshop
- no internet : airplane mode!
Cheers <3

Hey, Haxe devs!
I released on GitHub (ie. open source) all the stuff I usually have when I make a Ludum Dare jam:
- my games base-code: https://github.com/deepnight/gameBase
- my libs: https://github.com/deepnight/deepnightLibs
- a simple Tiled importer for Heaps: https://github.com/deepnight/heapsTiled
- a simple Ogmo 3 importer for Heaps: https://github.com/deepnight/heapsOgmo
Feel free to use these for your own projects :)
