I love themes like: - Gardening - Reflection - Towers
They are single words, I like them because they give you freedom to be creative and create so many games from them. For theme "gardening" for example, you could make a tower defense game with gardening mechanics, mini farming simulator or a platformer where different platforms grow from the plants. The point is that it gives you creative freedom.
But themes like: - "Not as it seems" - "find the exit"
Are immensely vague and it takes time to even decipher how to make a game idea from it that follows the theme. I hate those kind of themes. Plus I hate themes that are of the format: "Running out of __"
Anyways, just sharing couple of opinions.
I usually develop everything myself (except, of course audio), but I thought it would be interesting to develop in a team.
I'm looking for an experienced GameMaker Studio 2 programmer for additional programming. We have already a audio guy (he's the best) and I will be the main developer/designer who will direct the game's development.
Have a look at my previous jams by clicking my profile picture. If you're interested, reply to this with your previous jams or other content so I know about your experience.

I'm gonna start playing an rating your games and see what you've been up to. Feel free to post a link below to your submission or to a game you think is cool!

There are only two themes I hope don't get selected: - Leave something behind - You are the power source
I'll start finally playing and ratin' your games. Please link yours below. 😉

This jam I wanted to make a mining-transmutation type of game and I think I did quite well!
I have never made so much content for a game jam and the finished game is over an hour long which I take as a feat of sorts.

Will you find all the transmutations, including the hidden ones nobody has found yet? 😏
Include your favourite game's below (not your own) if you feel like sharing!

50 is a special number and quite looking forward to this one.

I'm joining this jam with a team of 2 people so far: - Me - Composer
We are looking for a sound designer, but if you think you might fit us otherwise do contact me as well! I'm using GMS2 and Aseprite
Here's some games I've done in earlier jams:
