Progress - Day 1
Little bit of art, and little bit of programming.

Little bit of art, and little bit of programming.

The game is called Y
It is a completely text-less adventure game.
There is not a single word in the entire game. You must figure everything by yourself while reading simple symbols around you.
The story is for YOU to figure out.

Wow, can't believe I already made 12 games since 2016 when I joined my very first LD.
EVERYBODY HAVE FUN!
Working hard with my main man @kobylarz who's working on everything audio related and writing.

Progress Ludum Dare 50 - Day 1
Joe and Lukas exploring an ancient derelict
Just you wait for all the audio magic done by my friend here Dan @kobylarz

I slept about 6 hours, no time for foolish things like that! Let's get back to work.

Me every Ludum Dare

That moment when you are okay with any theme, except ONE. Guess which one always wins.
Shouldn't have tweeted that...

Do you like cyber-noir stories, this adventure might be right up your alley.
Implementing all aspects of a good story: Music, Sound effects, voice over.

You are Walter Kane, NYPD Detective. While investigating the Night Owls drug ring, you are called to a crime scene- a seemingly unrelated murder. What happens next may be the break you are looking for…

This appeared on my screen before I refreshed it haha

Ok, so I COMPLETELY Randomly opened LD page just to scroll through people's posts and games. And all of the sudden I see that the next Jam is in 16 days!
What happened? I thought it's gonna be in April as usual.
I think many people missed this surprise Ludum Dare as I almost did.

I doesn't happen often that the final themes are actually good. Naturally, I still downvoted some of them, but in general, there wasn't a single theme I hated.
Usually, in most Jams there is at least one technically specific theme like "you live only 10 seconds" or "action platformer" that is too strict and as a developer of story-driven games, I just hate those.
Graphics almost done, now the boring part... programming.
