Here's my entry for the Ludum Dare: No Light Without Dark
Your weapon is a flashlight or more specifically, the light shining from it, which you use to dissipate the shades coming at you.
Controls-
WASD - Move
Mouse - Aim the beam of light
Space(hold) - Activate the flashlight
Post-Mortem of my First Ludum Dare
I am pretty damn dissapointed in myself as I did a lot of things I told myself not to do before the LD started:
First of all, I overslept.
Second, I stoppped working on the game at some point yesterday and never came back on it until this morning.
Finally, I burned my brain way too early with the project and couldn't keep myself going on it for the full duration of the Dare.

What I'm thinking of currently:
-Fix the faulty flashlight hitbox.
-More mobs. I will probably keep the mindless shades but add more dangerous mobs such as chargers and stuff.
-An incentive to closing the light (A battery charge meter, mobs become more aggresive when you have the light open, the screens darkens outside of the light when it's on, etc.)
Suggestions for other features would be cool.
