Ship Shooter by foodzilla

Form choked and I lost everything.

Half made ship shooter game where you shoot parts of your own ship. The vector math and collision sweeping caused huge ordeals, especially when I (remarkably) couldn't find any good sources that clearly went over some of the equations. What a mess.

Here's what I got. Lacks a death/victory condition, enemy AI... lots of things really. But I got the hardest part, the math, to actually work. Dammit.

-- Addition: WASD and QE move, and holding spacebar sends off a shot. There's just not much game here from the vector disasters I had to deal with, but hopefully this is a vaguely interesting sample nonetheless.

AI broken, movement not smooth, no sound. Is this game even complete?

As I noted in the description, I was only able to get it half done. I guess I should have just posted this on the forum? But I was interested in sharing what I did get done, since if someone had questions about the mess of vector math... I can actually answer those Q's! :D

Nice basic concept - game is yet far from being playable unfortunately. Would like to play a more final version. It feels nice.
