A solid entry. I particularly commend you on your music. The game does get very difficult with time.

Pretty decent game, and nice music, the movement seems a little slow though.
Great work

Very good game, The only thing I found that was missing was an end state. Would be very cool to see a post jam version of this like a Titan Souls of SHMUPS

Great soundtrack. Gameplay needs some improvements, especially with the collision detection but probably the best bullet hell I've ever played on this site.

Fun to play and that's the key thing, innit? I wish you had made something like a parallax scrolling background, like some stars, to create the illusion that the asteroid is heading towards Earth, it would maybe add a feeling of urgency to the whole scene. Also, perhaps the asteroid should move left and right as well, because as it is you may just lock your mouse onto it and mash space while only paying attention to evading the projectiles. As everyone is saying, solid music. Keep up the good work!

I love the music! Gets really hard later on, so unfortunately I wasn't able to finish it.

So lets start with the best thing,
the music!
It is great.
Next i got a few(1) problem.
the problem is if you are in a corner you are doomed.
It's probably because the asteroids come from the side.
Further i can't realy say more because i didn't get far in the game...
So yeah good game has a few(?) problems.

The music was awesome! Also the game was pretty hard (Although I was never good at these sort of games).

Suggestions: as someone already said background would have been amazing and I wish there was some sort of screen "You won" after you kill the asteroid - I thought that the animation would continue and I was pretty sad when it didn't (or that might be problem with Linux build).

Also I don't see how an ancient asteroid is technology :P

Pros:
- The music was solid. Nice techno beat.
- AI was fun and challenging
- Game felt good and reliable

Cons:
- I wish there was more sound FX for the shooting.
- The art could be better

Rather good! The progression of the difficulty/interest curve was especially good, as the asteroid doesn't begin to attack the player until you know the player can fight back. A good challenge, and as others have said, good music!

Unfortunately I cannot play your 64 bit executable on my 32 bit system. I tried compiling your code but it required more fiddling than I was willing to do.
