Use your emp to knock out the lights, and take out the enemies. The darkness is your weapon.
Okay, so we ran out of time due to a scheduling conflict, but we're still very happy with the game. There was more to be done in terms of an intro win condition, separate sprites for the bad guys, etc.
However, this is definitely our prettiest game to date, the graphics are pretty solid, the code is all good, and the gameplay is good, the music is fab. We're happy with what we've done in the time we have.

Just kidding. I actually like the idea, of hiding between cover and using your EMP and gun strategically, but in order for a game like this to work, you need to know what the enemy can and cannot see. And here, you have no clue. This makes things pretty difficult.
Other than that, though, the EMP is an interesting weapon, the cover you can hide behind works perfectly, and it controls just fine.
Concept could be fun if expanded upon, though.
steboots, you didn't play this right, as you can shoot the enemies, it must be a bug on your end, sadly without being able to reproduce it, we can't fix it! Try a different pc!
wg_phancock, audio is a big part of games, and there were plenty of sound cues you missed for the shooting! Still, we had a more overt shooting animation in the works.
And I know what you mean about running out of time, 3 days is rough. :P
I wasn't able to make it to the end though because there's a certain part where the enemies could shoot through the boxes. :\
The gameplay is difficult, as I can't tell if I'm actually shooting, or where the ennemies are shooting.
Where's my big "You died" message? ;)
