Glitch by Arovoid

During a stormy evening, lightning strikes and ruins the TV. However, amid the glitches a single pixel becomes sentient and decides to set out on a journey to step into the real world.

Try to find the exit of each level by moving your base to the level exit but beware of your surroundings: you can only survive outside of your base for a limited time. Scavenging will yield you fuel to move your base.

So, the first Ludum Dare is a wrap! And what fun it was. Sadly, we all had very limited time this weekend to work on the game. In total I think we only managed to put 12h of work into it.

On the bright side, there is a lot to learn from making a game. We will be joining Ludem Dare next time for sure and make sure no interruptions befall us.

Edit:
- The framerate issue was a small mistake in handling the "fog of war" colliders. It should be fixed now :)

Huge framerate drop when flying as base makes this game too difficult to rate and enjoy. I didn't rate it and will look at this if you fix this bug.

Neat concept, really hard though. I died repeatedly.

Good use of the theme, and the glitches on the screen actually look like terrifying glitches in the game.

Good core concept with simple but nice graphics. Thought it was a little hard in the beginning, could use some reset button.

Cool looking game. In web version options windows pops up when you right click so I wasn't able to shoot and I died, so I second the notion about adding a reset button.

Liked it a lot! It was a little hard to tell the difference between the blue of no fog of war and the black of fog of war on my monitor, and I don't think of this monitor as having contrast issues, but I might check again on my other monitors later. But I'd recommend upping that contrast a bit. Also wasn't sure where to find fuel. But I had fun running around looking and it was really pretty! Hope to see you next time.

There was a lot going on here. The flow of things wasn't immediately apparent but I like where it was headed. Cool project!
