Alchemist Tower by FatKarate

[raw]
made by FatKarate for LD31 (JAM)
Our game is a rouguelike in which you are tasked with clearing out a Alchemist tower. The owner of said tower cast a spell that went horribly wrong and merged it with a goblin dimension.

Please enjoy our first ever entry in Ludum Dare!

Controls:
Right and left click to attack with Primary and Secondary Weapons respectively. Same to pickup new primary/secondary weapons and other items too. Rings are pretty much the greatest ever.

Nice control scheme, I liked the way both arm are linked to mouse buttons.

It had nice potential, would love to see what floor I was on, I am assuming I was climbing stairs going up a tower. Having enemys spawn to close to entry points make it tough, and the staff only had two charges and I was then stuck with a weapon I could not use. Otherwise lots of potential

Nice game! Weapon variations were fun. Blew myself up good with some fireball staff... :)

Loved being able to hold something in each hand. Interesting idea, though I never felt like I was making any real progress. Nice job

Very cool control scheme! Took a while to get the hang of it, but it's good fun once I did.

This was a fun game. I enjoyed running around whacking baddies. The projectile weapons felt to weak for my taste.

really fun, but I'm an RL junkie! The controls, while usable could do with some fine tuning. especially the attacks. Sound is well implemented, graphics are cool but not overly impressive. Overall, I love it but needs some polish (understandable given the time constraints).

I love how the screens went up and around the tower. I'm playing on a laptop, so right-clicking for secondary weapons was tricky. Once I got a projectile weapon, the green enemies became a little trivial and boring to defeat. Lots of content and polish for a jam. Great job!

The looping tower was a great interpretation of the theme, and the dual-wielding mechanic was cool (although I ended up killing myself with the magic staves both games).

reminds me of my entry a bit :)

unfortunatley all the 3 times I tried the game I couldn't enter the other room.. I got stuck outside in the black like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5phsa5s4o9hrn2j/Screenshot%202014-12-10%2018.47.09.png?dl=0

It was cool how every weapon had a different fighting mechanic. Smart move on the theme too!
