Circle Sumo!
Move with the arrow keys, push (fire) with the space... and don't be beaten down or leave the ring yourself!

It was meant for the compo, but a severe AI bug kept me from finishing it before then. :/ But I darn well wanted to get something in! All the vector math was a huge ordeal to get right, next time definitely going with Unity...

Managed to beat the two enemies, couldn't take the three though. Agreed with Yarek that the game is probably tough enough without needing to move up to aim up :)
Even pre-building and submitting a framework doesn't get me enough resources to make games that feel more 'complete' to me. :/ At the least, I'm looking to make 'small and polished'... so:
1) I need better graphical tools even just for feedback/display,
2) Better ability to handle music/sounds
3) More options in development direction (letting me pivot better or design more variety of games)
A good enough explanation for you? :D
