[in case anyone is interested]
The majority of the game is programmed as a procedural 2D texture inside of Unity. This wasn't an intentional choice but just happened due to sleep deprivation and time constraints. My aim was to make this game very audio-heavy as the processes that animate the texture are very similar to DSP techniques. Unfortunately I ran out of time for this, however the audio is still generated procedurally through WebAudio API (only audible in supported browsers). I may update a post-compo version in the next few days/weeks.

Made at "IRL" Ludum Dare @ Google Campus, London.

Strangely hypnotic. Sort of fun. A bit repetitive.

With some sort of power up system, or just more variety, it could be pretty sweet.

I like the idea of the procedural audio as well, hope you get to finish that idea.

Wow! That was... strange but addicting! It took me a moment to realise the aim (I died the first few times for what seemed like no apparent reason :P ) but once I realised that trippy shader bar was the enemy I got addicted.. :P It is kind of like flappy bird in the respect that it is silly but fun :P Good job haha

Very psychedelic!
I think more enemies at the same time or hazards that can't be shot at would give the player more incentive to move around. Right now it looked like it was better to just stand still and turn around while shooting the enemies.

that was fun, simple and addictive although it was lacking a bit of instructions. I would like to this see this game further developed with more content. Also please remove the seizure causing end screen. Great entry!

Movement seems tricky. I mostly sat in the center and rotated to face the, uh...wood...
