Yay! I finished my first ever LD with about 45 minutes to spare. Well, I when I say finished I mean that everything *should* work. But that is not the case; Java has bugs when trying to play .WAV files, which is the format that SFXR exports. I didn't have time to change the format move over to .ogg and use Slick2D's ogg player, so I had to disable sfx completely. Don't worry, though: if you download the source code you can get run it correctly from your IDE. Just go into the Sound class and remove the comments. I will probably reupload a version with fixed audio later on if I can get it to work.

It is widescreen only, so on my 1280x124 the text is cut on the right.

The game was too big for my screen (1366*768), so I could only see the top left corner. I guess I had to click a button somewhere to start the game, so I could not test it...

Generally, I think it's safer to have LD games run in windowed mode by default with the option to full screen if you want. Niggling point aside, this wasn't a bad game. The controls were mostly smooth, and you can tell the sprites had some good work put into them.

I like the interactive intro sequence. The controls were fluid and the game ran at constant 60 fps. As mentioned by the other commenters, windowed mode is a must have for any ld game. I would have liked a tutorial or an explanation of why the zombie dwarves were after me. Also the 100.098593% capture made me feel very good about myself ;)
