That's it, my first Ludum Dare entry. I hope you'll like it.
It's a simple platformer with a little particularity: there is only one level that evolves and becomes
more complex each time you complete it.
The level is procedurally generated so each game session will feature a new one.
You need OpenAL to launch the game. You can install it with the OALinst executable or launch the nosound version of the game.
Controls:
Left, Right arrow: Move the character.
Space: Jump.
Left Ctrl: Fire.
Alternatively you can use A, D, W to control the character (or the corresponding keys if you don't have a qwerty keyboard) and Left Shift to fire.

Maybe the jumping controls could have been better, they feel a bit "stiff" to me.
At first, there should have been new elements after 4-5 levels like lava and others traps but you know how it is. I didn't have the time to implement it or to correctly tune the generation of the advanced levels.
Perhaps you need to update your graphic driver or to install the visual studio 2010 redistributable:
