I called this game Naos for no real reason, but I like the sound of the word.

I'm not sure what kind of game it is, really - I just decided to make whatever. It really does relate to the theme of "Tiny World" in a way, but don't worry about it too much. Just enjoy the few minutes you have with Naos!

You're a guy, in the woods, and you walk into a canvas and stuff and paint and yeah okay

It's not much of a game... but it was a nice experience.

I like what you got going here. The art direction is dipping into something that could turn out rather nice!

Certainly an interesting game. And unique. I was expecting a horror game though based on the intro noise and the screenshots.

That was kind of a strange game. I guess I'm not one for a lot of dialog. The effect kind of hurt my eyes after a while, but it was still pretty neat.

I had low expectations based on the screenshots, but I think this is the best in the mood and music categories that I've seen so far. Great style.

Very interesting concept. Musics are trippy but gave a strong strange mood to the game. I d love to see a more polished version giving slowly more and more options to paint.

Too many dialogues that told me to press X. Constantly giving game instructions kind of break the immersion.

Loved the graphics, really. Nice but bizarre journey. Loved the atmosphere as well. It would be interesting to have the story develop a little further, though.
Overall a nice entry. Liked it.

@all: Thanks for complements w.r.t. mood! I know the gameplay is a bit well, lacking, but I hope to use these art/aesthetic ideas in a game I'm working on at the moment, to make it creepy/unsettling :))

Apologies for those whose eyes are hurt by the blur (I liked the effect...but it was overdone a bit). Glad the music seemed to work with the mood :)

I understand with the breaking of the immersion in dialogue...i am a little scared in the game jam with not getting the directions across clearly o_O. In general, I like to avoid text :) so when I implement this sort of atmosphere in a later game, no text! Just...scary stuff I guess. ambiance is the best

Very nice! Loved the graphics, and the message of creativity and self-discovery was good too. Also, liked the drawing minigame as part of it.

I look forward to more games from you in the future! You're helping advance the Art. +1

I've had a long day, family is getting ready for bed, I've got the lights out. This game was getting to me. No joke - something about it was unsettling. Almost like watching David Lynch's Rabbits.

AWESOME! I'd love to see more things like this, and expanded upon. Video games inspired by David Lynch, haha.

Good job, again, really impressive experience made in 48 hours!

I love the art direction, the color cycled jittered scibbles specifically. I didn't get where the blur fit in aesthetically, but hey, it's 2012. Overall, I liked it. The anti-Thoreau barbs were pretty funny and the faux achievements were... something. I would have preferred less hand-holding, it edged a little close to QTEs with all the "press x here" dialogs. The xy-autoscroll-paint-mechanic is here to stay.

Whoa! This was.. interesting, it felt really haunting for some reason, it was short and perhaps not much of a game but I did really enjoy it, good job!

Nicely done on the music, together with the story it set an interesting mood. I also like that you did something different in terms of interactivity, so I give you high marks for innovation.

I found the "I should press x to..." to be kind of distracting, because it's in the protagonists voice. Why not introduce a narrator or just have hover-overs, that can be accepted without breaking the fourth wall. But maybe that's what you wanted? Hmn...

Anyhow, interesting game! I like the story and overall feel a great deal.

Incredibly interesting. I really dug the graphics & art, it really contributed to the mood. The music, too. I guess I really dug the atmosphere, is what I'm trying to say. Sort of more an interactive story than "game," but definitely benefits from the "interactive" format.

I dug it. Music was cool, the art style worked. I didn't feel terribly invested in my painting, but I still liked the concept.
