One simple suggestion to make this game a little more user friendly would be to draw the enemy fire in a different colour to your own - personally I find it difficult to assess what I am meant to be avoiding.
Also, the regeneration of health happens so slowly as to have no effect on gameplay whatsoever - unless I were happy to sit somewhere safe for ten or so minutes...
Another thing that would really make the game more playable would be checkpoints! I realise this is a more complex suggestion, but as it is I had many attempts at level 2 with no success (which I only managed to get by renaming "level1.txt" to "level2.txt") to persevere with the game.

difficult game, especially from as far as I could tell you have to restart the game if you die. also I think that your health bar regenerated too slowly. It seemed like a nicely put together platformer though and I did enjoy the anti gravity aspect to the game

Nice effort, but the game is still quite bugged. The first time I played I fell in the cracks between two ground pieces :-(

The mixture of aimed shots and not aimed shots was also a bit hard to deal with. maybe you want to scrap this "aimed shot" idea altogether?

Good luck next LD!

Very difficult, so for that reason I didn't get very far in. I liked the shooting mechanics, though. Good game.

Got it to run in windows which is a plus :) A few issues like not being able to restart the game when you die, but nice work on doing some intro/story at the start. Would have benefitted from a lot of tuning, especially the combat but well done!

control aren't the best, as on azerty keyboard, the z isn't as the same place as on qwerty. Spend a good minute just to understand how to shoot. And shooting isn't the best so far. AIming with a big red cross imply some sort of missile moving on his own.

I'm not sure if missile moving in direction of bad guys would be really harder. Replacing code to detect in what sector is the bad guys with the x and y distance, and scale them to get how many pixel bullet travel each frame would have been a bit more complex, but probably not that slow, and difficulty greatly reduced.
