The Remnants by CoffeeOnimal
Perhaps bit off a bit more than I could chew, but this is a challenge after all.
The idea is a BattleStar Galactica Sim; aliens have destroyed your civilization and you have to escape their fleets that are hunting you around the galaxy.
That's the idea at any rate, at this point it's still extraordinarily bare-bones. So, I'm not expecting high ratings (don't be too mean tho!) instead I just wanted to get something in so I could point to it and say, "I did that!".
UPDATE: Yes, I'm aware that I neglected to tell anyone what is supposed to happen in this game; I had meant to post an update with some fixes but day_job() has been running somewhat constantly. So here's a brief rundown on what is happening.
The red dots are planets. Move along, nothing to see here, yet.
The Blue dots are enemy fleets. Don't worry, they don't attack you right now..
The green dot is your fleet. You can't see it, but there's 41 ships in there, and they all consume food, water and fuel each time you "jump". You jump by clicking a spot in space that's within jump range of the fleet (yeah, I know, can't see it right?) and then hit end of turn.
Woo, tonnes of fun right? Yeah, it's a prototype, not really a game, but I like the idea so PostCompo revs might have some interesting revisions.

@Gornova: Since CoffeeOnimal participated in the Jam (not compo) s/he doesn't have to publish source code.
And no, to be honest there really isn't much of a game. At least some of the critical components are missing; the alien fleets don't attack, and there's no win/lose conditions, among other things. I also completely forgot to display all the critical information; food, water and fuel consumption. Not to mention letting anyone know what is what and what you are supposed to do.
So, lessons learned for next LD, and thank you for the feedback, it does help.
Not sure why you uploaded / what you expect from comments otherwise. This doesn't count not even as a prototype.
If you're aiming for the Jam, definitely bring some friends next time, this should really speed up the development. Well, try again.
I hope next LD you have the time for a playable game based on this experience. Keep on trying!!
