the concept of using your own health to resurrect the other ones to fight for you is a great idea!
The only thing I didn't like about it was the PC controls, but then i realized I should be using a controller anyways! So i did.

Your and my entry are some of the few entries with controller support :wink:

The graphics and animations are really great! It is a bit awkward turning around to face the enemy before you can attack it. Good job!

As soon as I saw the darkness and light emitting from the knights, I had to try it. It was enjoyable to run around and check out the lights. I'm not sure why, but I was focused on my knight's feet running around and that run animation was enjoyable to watch. And the enemy eyes coming at me in the darkness was a nice touch. Nice work!

Its a good concept but the controls are kind of difficult to use when trying to face the enemy as it goes around it to turn it would have been better if it just rotated the player. Otherwise really good concept

@sarwin thanks for the feedback! I spent my entire time testing with an Xbox controller & didn't realise the keyboard controls were so lackluster. Definitely something I'll make sure I test over in the future!

I like the concept and think it was well executed. To make the game better i would add screen shake aswell as getting some nice sound effects in. The knight model was also really cool.

@timeshapers yeah I didn't have much time for giving info & hoped people would get the jist. You basically defend the statue in the middle from incoming enemies. If they kill you or the statue then it's game over. You can summon other knights to help defend, but it cost's your life to do so (if you have enough). Re-gain life from killing enemies which can be used to summon more knights.

The game looks absolutely amazing! It is one of the most beautiful games at this LD:) Also, It’s really cool that there is the gamepad input supporting)

This is a really pretty little game, and especially the knights are so well made. The game idea is good, but it fields a bit unfinished.

Nice concept, it would probably have profited from directional sounds^^
the only minor issue I had was that "up" was not actually up in the controls on KB :D
I'd also include KB control scheme in the Description up there. Took a bit to figure out what button was used to resurrect^^

really good concept which fit the theme. The graphics are nice and the controls are instinctives. For a compo (and even for a Jam), it's a really good game.

Interesting concept and cool animations! At first I did not know I had to protect the statue but it became clear when the enemies started attacking it. :smile: I found that I had to wait a while for enemies to appear though. It could be fun to have more enemies and maybe have the cost of resurrection lower?

Nice job! I really liked the art and the lighting, both were really well done, and the idea was pretty clever. I felt like the PC controls were a little awkward, but luckily I had a controller lying around that I could use. Overall though I liked it!

I'm getting like 15fps?! Don't know why :D I'm impressed that this is a combo game, although controls were really bad for pc.. Neat animations, cute world and a great idea! I think you should inform players that you need a controller to play this but it's not necessary. I noticed that after reading whew comments. Would love to try this one on a controller (I don't own any). Solid entry tho, good job!

Pretty much everything but the controls were great. It may have been me, but the controls felt quite unnatural. Aside from that, the concept is nice and I love the models. :thumbsup:

The health pickups didn't work for me, so i was never able to summon more than 1 ally, and it seems like the enemy spawns wait for you to summon another, so the game stops for me. Great idea, aesthetic, and control, though!
