Played for about 20 minutes and felt there wasn't much more of the game to see. My main dissappointment is how the RNG never gives prices that makes buying and selling a viable source of income

Interesting idea! I can definitely see there being some strategy involved in choosing loadouts and weighing that against how the different opponents fight. Trade could be an interesting factor to account for how you decide to build up your turtle. It does seem quite ambitious for a game jam to have several different systems interacting nicely.

Nice art! I like the turtle head, very charming :)

The concept is ambitious, it's not my kind of game but I see the efforts and care put in the project. The idea of the world is simple yet nice, I'd like to see more.
The only downside is this kind of game need a lot of content, and so far it's really repetitive.

But good work anyway ! (y)

Thanks for your feedback to our game. Yesterday it was played on Twitch and someone wrote in the chat that only the turtle is missing. Maybe we should team up next time to match customers need ;-)

Btw. Your game looks also very nice ;-) I'm on a work pc - and will test it later

I like the idea, and would certainly play again if it was expanded upon. The hand-drawn graphics are cute!

Ah I've also been toying with the idea of a game where you own a movable platform of some kind that you build towers/defenses upon. A giant turtle didn't cross my mind, but it's a fantastic approach! I'd like to see this polished up and expanded upon!

Really love the use of theme here. Systems interact nicely, but I had a hard time figuring out which port was best for which material, since it took a while to sail between ports. Those angry dolphins sure do scale quickly! :dolphin:

The lack of content made me a little bit disappointed.
But turtle and houses are drawn realy cute.

The graphics are cool. I really think that more feedback when interacting with objects would help a lot to improve the whole feeling of the game, for example making smooth transitions or very clear graphical changes when clicking on the elements. Also, when traveling I don't think it's really necessary to take a lot of time, you can do the transition very quickly to keep the player interested about the game itself, at least between traveling and fights. You should consider polishing the idea and releasing a alpha version to a small community on Steam and improving upon feedback. Nice idea!

I really like the graphics (that you managed to complete!) and concept, however I'm having a few issues with the UI on the web version - for example the timer at the top goes past the resources tab. Perhaps a bit over ambitious but overall a really solid idea that goes well with the TD style mechanics.

The idea seemed nice but the execution seemed a bit off.

For starters nothing was explained to me when playing. I had no idea what the different icons meant, what my goals where or how to build things (I didn't even realise that was a thing at first). Something on this page or the game page explaining this would go a long way.

The graphics look nice (the turtle looks great!) although the resource icons need some work.

Overall its not a bad start

I think, the basics of your game mechanics is very good. I missed a tutorial or a menu. I've never seen game like yours. Thank you. Great Job!

Ah I love trading games! And this one is no exception. I can see a lot of potential with the towers system and real-time combat (if it is changed from clicker to something more stratgic.) On the economic side, it seems strange to automatically gain gold at each place, but it makes good for an easy mode, maybe less usefull if prices mechanics became more intuitive.
