Notes

  • It seems unity has changed the way WebGL works, it seems stable, but the native builds will always be more reliable.

This was really interesting. I didn't comprehend it instantly, but I caught on quickly enough. There's certainly a balancing act to be struck with this one, trying to keep all the different stats in line while fending off enemies. Fortunately, since it's a turn based game the player has as much time to think as they need. I did, however, find it unclear when I was and wasn't allowed to attack. Sometimes I would walk right up to an opponent, but the attack command would never materialize. Maybe that's just what I get for using the WebGL version. Good work!

@piscythe thank you for the detailed feedback, overall I was quite pleased with the balance of the stats and enemy progression too.

As for the issue with attacking enemies, I have not encountered this bug myself but I have had issues where enemies have not been targeted and the player hasn't noticed, really I should have made the target indicator clearer, and perhaps made the auto targeting work better

Fun game! :) Mechanics are well designed and I loved how the AI provides a good challenge. The UI could use some work so it can be clearer what you can and cannot do.

Things I liked
- sound feedback on actions

Things for improvement
- Needing to swap hand between arrow keys and mouse
- having to click to target
- UI could be adjusted to not cover up arena
