This was a trainwreck, was supposed to be something quite different but in the end a flash of indie-game-dev pretentiousness salvaged some sort of thing out of it.

More details to follow.

I liked the premise of this storytelling game and all the quotes about money you implemented. However, after the "I should seek the buffletaur" message started to appear all the time, I couldn't bother to finisch the game, because it was just a giant maze from that point on. I'm kinda sad I didn't find the buffletaur. I'm sure I missed something. But it became too tedious. Maybe you could start the maze earlier and make it a lot smaller?

Hey Beebo thanks for the feedback. I was making something totally different at first for which the large procedurally generated maze made sense. I completely agree that it doesn't really work.

Liked the storytelling and was hoping it would escalate with the despair value and such, but unfortunately I was only able to see the "boss" from distance. The models are cute, having the main character to dodge and avoid traps would have added a lot to this game, since the long boring walk did indeed get... well boring :)

At first I thought this was a lame attempt, but then the messages made me continue playing, because the concept here is fascinating! I am kinda sad, that after “I should seek the buffletaur” there were no further messages. I didn't finish it, since there was no incentive to do so. I really liked the concept and where this was going, it's a shame that the game wasn't finished.

I like the idea that hide behind the game.
Graphics are also cool.
And the storytelling is a good idea.

But the maze is too long and too much 1 way.
If you want a bigger maze, their should be more choices and bring more interaction to avoid boring the player.

Shame it's against the rules to make changes now, making the maze smaller is literally a case of tweaking 2 numbers :)
