I enjoyed playing it, but it seemed more like trial and error than puzzle solving at times.

Cool idea, even though the graphics and the UX is lacking.

There is no indication if a wall is thin or not, so I don't know if I can break it, only after a sacrifice was made.

Also I would like to reuse the alter if I made a wrong decision instead of restarting the level.

The first two levels were fun, and I enjoyed the sacrifice/ability system. Once I got to level 3 I couldn't get to the 4th altar. Making precise movements once you get super speed becomes difficult. I think enabling a Shift to sprint mechanic would make it work a little better.

I did not feel the theme in this game but that did not stop it from being interesting. It took me quite a bit of tries to figure out how to finish the levels and i hoped that a nice soundtrack would have been there to cheer me up. The models are obviously lacking a bit and the game could use some sound!
A nice game nonetheless!

Good job in staying true to the theme of LD44, could use background music and a basic model for the character. But still, congrats!

Got stuck in lvl 2, had problems with the high wall, though I did get over it relatively easy the first 2 times. The wall jump is kinda hard to work with because it bounces you in the opposite direction of the wall, only with a corner you can cheese it.

I would really recommend to make use of music and sound effect, it's better to have slightly bad sounds than no sounds at all. I Could recommend Bfxr and audacity for sound tools.

Also when looking straight ahead you can't see the better half of the player, which would be nice when you're gonna do a jump, but maybe that is just my personal belief.

There is not much sacrifice, it's more like, get to that checkpoint and choose a ability.
I don't mean to be harsh, but some improvements needs to be made to make you'r game shine, it is not a bad concept.

Game is good and fits the theme but not something which would like to play many time. there are some bugs in the game like in the first level i sacrificed my one leg and then in the second level i sacrificed my same leg by mistake and then i had no way other than restating the level. I would also like to see some interesting mechanics in the game. Not very sure but in your third level you have to sacrifice your hand to run faster but if a person have already sacrifice both of his legs how could he even walk.. Hahaha But anyways its just a game but its okay for me but innovative.

Thanks so much for the feedback, and for playing the game!

I wasted lots of time trying to get the character rigged. I need to practice that. The music suffered because of this too. I wasn't aware how valuable music would be for LD. This is a tip that I won't forget. I had originally planned to have the character hop/crawl when losing legs, but that was cut too.

Very good game, could have been perfect with more polish on graphics and level design because it is really confusing.

Interesting concept. But I got stuck at the very beginning :P I'm probably just not clever enough. Would have liked to play this with a proper character model indicating the sacrificed limbs :)

The concept is interesting, but it is a bit harsh to have to redo all the level if you fail. I'd have liked a checkpoint for each altars. If you want to add music and sound effects to your game, you should check out opengameart !
