So happy to be done with my first Ludum Dare / Game Jam ever! I had to scale back my idea a ton and had some poor planning on what assets to create. Overall I'm just glad to get a little game made and to have such an eye opening experience. I tried to make a game that had some wacky physics/atmosphere while also trying to be an arcade game.

Only update was fixing a bug that would freeze the game if you wanted to play again!

Good effort for your first LDJAM game :)
The idea is pretty original. The controls worked well and the mechanics are quite clear.
One thing that gets hard fairly quickly is how unpredictably the asteroid fragments will bounce. Perhaps if you could pull the fragments toward the moon somehow (like a simple gravitational pull) it would be a bit more manageable.
Some visual indication of the planet's health would be nice too.
Some basic sounds when things break, and when you get hit would be a huge improvement as well.

Good job!

Graphics and music were nice! The gameplay was a little difficult because I had trouble swinging the moon, although I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. I would agree with the suggestions that @earthcollapse already mentioned.

Great job on your first jam game. I think reducing the size of the player hitbox a bit would help make it feel a little more playable. Also, killing or destroying asteroids that collide with you to help clear the field of clutter and some of the uncertainty I had while playing.

I'd love more feedback when things are destroyed, and maybe some invulnerability frames when struck. Neat concept overall!
