Wow! So simple, yet so fun! Great game!

I had a lot of fun with this. After figuring out the patterns of the levels I took some time to make some new ones. I set up two giant walls of bounce pads so my baby could learn parkour. He leaped back and forth reaching heights unfamiliar to most natural babies. Awesome work.

I had very much fun playing this. It is very minimalistic but soo cool. I really enjoyed thinking of creative solutions. Good Job!

Had some great time building some slopes and bridges! Is this generated infinitely?
Well done! :v:

i thought i had made it to the end, then more platforms spawned and i kept going. i only used the flat pieces to build bridges and boxes to stop from walking off the edge. not sure if that was intentional but it worked for me.

@goutye yes it's infinite random generation :) thanks! I wish I had more time to create more level chunks!

Pretty funny concept. Took a sec to get used to the controls, but had a good time once I did. Poor baby I'm sorry I couldn't save you

Very fun game! Love the infinite worlds. Obviously if you pursue it down the road I would love to see more puzzles/variations. Another mode you could do is something like a level by level basis where you have to get the baby to the end point and that adds a point to your score. When the baby dies then game over and you add up your score. Overall, very fun game!

I spent most the time just kill the baby with my helicopter :) I did get a null reference error once. Pretty challenging game. It's funny when the baby bounces off stuff.

that was nice:D I had a lot of fun playing this game.
Great that you implemented checkpoint system. Great moving animation also! I also liked random generation of the level.

Ah yes, just like good old fashioned Lemmings, but with more null pointer exceptions ^_^ A Really fun idea!

Simple and fun. But at some point, it started to throw Null reference exceptions and the copter constantly fell down.

Deliberately killing the baby is easily the most satisfying thing you can do. And that's not something I say often.

If you expand on this game I would definitely consider hand crafting levels instead of infinitely adding more, but I always appreciate a bit of procedural generation in game jam entries.

Comments indicate this should be fun. I must've put the blocks down wrong from the start. Got nullrefs and crashes after adding boxes pretty much on the left side, but baby spawned further left.
Could do with a bit more intuitive start, I guess.
Good effort for compo, tho!

@lars-erik , @bereg , @snesgaard Thanks for letting me know about the null refs I will look into that. I think it has something to do with the way I sloppily slapped together my checkpoint system. Will have to refine this when I continue to polish it up!

It was fun to kill the baby and overall the mechanic was quite interesting. I liked placing a bunch of objects down and whilst boxing the baby in until I thought I was ready. The helicopter dying was really annoying though. Sometimes the blades just clipped a box and that was enough to die. Dying doesn't really bother me because I can just box the baby in. If there was a some sort of punishment for dying then I can see it working, but if not I'd just disable that really.

You got a null reference exception for something but I have no idea what.

All in all the game was fun!

@lars-erik , @bereg , @snesgaard yup it was an issue with the way I was spawning the players back in. All patched! Thanks for catching it!

@adam-clayden Thanks for the feedback Adam! I have gotten similar feedback from friends about the chopper being able to crash into things. If I expand on this I may have a completely different type of entity floating over the baby...maybe a fairy god parent or something? Oh and I just patched the null errors hope those don't pop up anymore! Thanks again for playing!

This is a very cool and original concept! I like how in many ways you can build the level (and also kill the baby XD)

Very cool. When I entered Ludum Dare I did not know I would slaughter so many babies
