Loopst by dcrdro

It seems you you are in world, which is, hmm, kinda looped. Exploring it, you found it obey interesting rules... Can you figure out what's happening, and discover all the secrets? Can you leave this unordinar world?
Explore the world and look for tips. Perhaps fate will have mercy and show you the right path...
Control: - WASD to move - to pickup object step on tile

Update : added steps to pass levels:
Level 1: !> Go to the left to the stone under the exit, and slide it to the right. Then go to the left
Level 2:
!> Each time you "switch" world, one tree is disappear. Finally, they form an arrow (up). So, after all central trees are gone, go up.
Level 3:
!> Go to the foliage bottom left, and walk along it back and forth. Then arrows appear. They mean the directions by which you should move between worlds: left arrow means you should come out from the left side. So, here you do: come out from left -> come out from top -> come out from right -> come out from bottom
Level 4: !> Come to the big tree, on lower tile. Shake it 3 times by pressing W. Then apple drops from it. Pickup apple and... let the character do everything for you ;)
Level 5: !> Oh, this is hard level  So, you see the "map" at the first screen. The "square" - is your position, *cross" - position with key from door. The principle here is the same as at level 3. So you move by map across the screens. Yea, it can take much time ;) Things get even more complicated when you consider the detail: you can't see map during all your travelling. You will have to memorize all the way (at least one way). The rule is: if your moving right - you DONT see the map and door. Once you have stubmled (move wrong direction) - you get on "starting" screen with door and map, and you should start your travel againg. Then, when you reached the key, you need to move backwards. The rule is the same: you moving correctly=you DONT see the map. Aaaand, finally you returned to the "starting" world, and open the door by key. Oooh yeeah, we did it :D
Level 6: !> You need to "deliver" white rhombus to the black one. The principle is: coming out from the one side moves the rhombus by opposite direction. Eg. if you comes out from left, the rhombus moved to the right. So, by these movements you need to take source rhombus to it's distination. Then direction arrow appears, and you move where it facing.
Level 7: !> There are 4 stones. And 4 holes for them. You need to place each stone at according hole. But at one world you couldn't see all the stones and holes: you see only 3 stones, and 1 hole for the missing stone. To figure out what stone is required for this hole, you move to next (right) world and check which stone is appeared (nvm that some other stone disappeared) - that is required stone for hole on the left world. Therefore, since there isn't stone on left world, you need just to memorize the hole position, and at the right world move appeared stone to this hole. Do the same for each stone, moving to the right. Moving up and down makes no effect on world.

THE GOOD:
- Executed the puzzle mechanics flawlessly
- Perfect looping mechanic
- Dialog is great
- Puzzles are really nice
THE BAD:
- The music "dinging" is very loud and becomes painful after a while
- I got stuck at the Black and White diamond puzzle. I couldn't interact with either. Maybe I'm just dumb, but let me know. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
TO IMPROVE:
- Rewarding the player for interacting with world objects. Random easter eggs are always fun. (I know time was limited)
@james-joubert Sorry for music, really haven't pay much attention at setting it :( And yea, easter eggs woulde be cool, and I have some ideas, but yea, time makes its own adjustments.
A very nice puzzle game, very satisfying to figure out how the puzzles work, and finally get them. I beat it, the first six levels without assistance but that rock one... that was very difficult to figure out so I had to use your tip for it, and even then it was still hard to get. Overall, this is a nice game :)
But overall a nice game!
@jmoocow2003 you are good! ;)

Generally, now I see I had to make difficulty curve more smooth, and introduce new mechanics (like moving stones) gradually.
Nice work!
Yea, I overdid with the size of the path at the level with the map
I'm glad you liked it!
I'd suggest adding some audio for the dialogue boxes, since they felt a little long and unable to speed up. The use of 'text-speak' can make reading dialogue more natural. Here's a good video about the practice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYZMWkmXX3k
Well done though, I really loved this!
I would've loved to see more fun stuff from simply interacting with the environment.
