The Time Terrorists by Wilko
!! Warning !! -- This is quite a challenging puzzle game -- !! Warning !!

As the best detective in the Downtown Kyoto Police Department’s time warping division your job is to stop a duo of criminals from setting off a bomb hidden in a random room at the motel. There are three ways to stop this bomb: - Knockout both of the terrorists - Find the code to diffuse the bomb - Cut the two correct wires on the back of the bomb

This might seem like an impossible task but there is hope. Seeing as you are in the time warping division, every night at midnight you will turn back time to 8AM where you can start the investigation again with all the knowledge that you've gained as well as a shadow of yourself that repeats all of your passed action.
Your clipboard contains hints that you should reveal AS YOU NEED THEM this way you can control the difficulty

It is indeed challenging but I also found it natural to fail a couple of times and retry with the knowledge from the previous rounds.
If you want to continue working on this game (and I think you should!) I think you should add sound effects for punching, opening doors and maybe some other things :)
Congratulations, well done!
The game plays well and the music is quite atmospheric. I wish the investigator looked different from other characters. But other than that: great jam job!
The only suggestion I have is - when you kill innocent bystander, I wouldn't have ended the game - I would add the ability to kill your past self on the next day, to prevent it.
