8-Bit Soul Eater by Sebity
You are a Clydenth Soul Collector who is tasked with Protecting the Soul Eaters, the creatures that devour souls and release them to the underworld.

Each Lunar Cycle, Soul Eaters go through the Moonsilet Ritual, which requires them to release the souls into the underworld. During this ritual, the Soul Eaters become vulnerable and are unable to defend themselves, so that call upon the Soul Collectors to protect them from the Synarounth's, the sworn enemies of the Clydenth's. Hordes of Synarounth's attack each Lunar Cycle with the objective of releasing soul's from the Soul Eater and allowing them ascend, with also the hope of killing Soul Eaters.

Cool pixelart ! Are they yours ?
I like that my orbs can hit what I have to defend x)
One thing though : TOO MUCH VINES !
Found the combination of art and echoey SFX and weird little organ soundtrack pretty atmospheric. I felt gameplay was a bit basic but ok,
felt the vines and platforms somehow didn't quite workout as a useful thing for me, maybe if i could have shot while climbing, i ended up always just sitting on the lowest level or one above that and trying to jump their shots. Would have been nice maybe if the sould had healed me or something had, so I could have had a chance to stay in the game longer, managed to make it past the first wave, little bit dissapointed that it seemed it was just more of teh same after anyway.
Overall good job though as an arcadey atmospheric shooter.
Oh, and music, really enjoyed the music as well
When you grasp mechanics and tricky method games become to simple resulting in staying near the Soul Eater and shooting the enemies when they land to the ground. But after all it was fun to play for some time :)
