Each Lunar Cycle, Soul Eaters go through the Moonsilet Ritual, which requires them to release the souls into the underworld. During this ritual, the Soul Eaters become vulnerable and are unable to defend themselves, so that call upon the Soul Collectors to protect them from the Synarounth's, the sworn enemies of the Clydenth's. Hordes of Synarounth's attack each Lunar Cycle with the objective of releasing soul's from the Soul Eater and allowing them ascend, with also the hope of killing Soul Eaters.

Fun game. I wish playing the sound effects didnt cut off sound effects that were already going on. Sometimes jumping off vines didnt work. Good job on the graphics!

Solid graphics and sound design. I like that the health regenerates, but the gameplay itself becomes a little repetitive. Some scary music right there too.

liked the art style, cute characters and little touches like the particles. Liked the setting and the weirdly convoluted back story :).
Found the combination of art and echoey SFX and weird little organ soundtrack pretty atmospheric. I felt gameplay was a bit basic but ok,
felt the vines and platforms somehow didn't quite workout as a useful thing for me, maybe if i could have shot while climbing, i ended up always just sitting on the lowest level or one above that and trying to jump their shots. Would have been nice maybe if the sould had healed me or something had, so I could have had a chance to stay in the game longer, managed to make it past the first wave, little bit dissapointed that it seemed it was just more of teh same after anyway.
Overall good job though as an arcadey atmospheric shooter.

The "lore" you have there is awesome! I found it a bit frustrating to move around though, and just sitting on the corner opposite to the soul eater was enough to easily annihilate everyone

Really neat idea and nice execution of the platformer part. I wish I haven't found that the best tactic is to stand right in front of the Soul Eater and shoot enemies one by one, as they fall from the platforms. So, even putting him in the middle and getting enemies to come from two sides would have been an improvement. Also, there aren't a lot of enemies coming at you at once, but there are quite a lot in each level, so the game drags because of that.
Oh, and music, really enjoyed the music as well

Nice! I really liked the mechanics. The character movement is good and the shooting and kiling enemies are satisfying. The goal of the game was not really clear in the beginning though. Good pixel art graphics and nice particle effects. The sounds were a bit annoying sometimes, but the music is good. Good job!

I liked the animation of characters and particles effects make it looks nice and interesting.)
When you grasp mechanics and tricky method games become to simple resulting in staying near the Soul Eater and shooting the enemies when they land to the ground. But after all it was fun to play for some time :)

Thank you so much for the comments and advice. We have taken it onboard and released an updated version with quite a few of the suggestions implemented. We have also released a Linux version. Hopefully will be able get a Mac build in a day or two. Thanks again everyone.

Really cool game. The gameplay and the level design have a retro feeling, and the graphics is amazing. Need some balance but overall very impressive.

Ok, I really like this game but... Is this version for mac the same for LD? I don't know what ratings would be if lots of animations would be missing and sound and gameplay... Right now the game is very polished and good looking. Maybe little less level for SFX should be set but not much.

Nice game! The pixel art looked really good and the music was nice. Gameplay was fun. I think the combat mechanics could be slightly improved to be a bit more fun. But overall it's still awesome, good job!

I liked the style but it would start with less bad to destroy and when playing it you feel that you advance more in the waves or levels, jump a little more fluid in the grass just like the shot, good job!
