【When an AI system accidentally generated a set of self-consciousness data in its program, it has a strong desire to survive from being purged by the firewall. As a player, you need to control its virtual body to help it escape the firewall and achieve real life.】

The initial dialogue was written in Chinese. When making the English version, I tried to translate the text accurately, but there are still places where I can't express it very well, please forgive me ノ(._.`)

As the first game with no scripting experience before, I know there are so many things to do to complete the game experience, but thank you to all the players : ))

This looks like a really interesting game, but unfortunately I don't really know Chinese so I feel like I can't give a game that appears to be pretty plot-heavy a score when I can't understand it. Let me know if you do get a translation done and I'll check it out!

Great game! But there still remains lots of space to complete your story. Such as, which committee you referred to in your game.

@bulubululi the 4th Division is a special department established in the corporation for system maintance. Actually it is vaguely mentioned by the clues in the game, but yeah, it needs to be clear as a worldview.

Impressive quality. I got stuck entering my name until I figured out you could use the one of the keys to delete. Z or X, I forget.

Very interesting game. The ending made me a bi sad but it was deep :O My only criticism is a personal taste thing, I would say to try and make it so the game remembers if you've played it before, but obviously that would require a lot of extra work so for right now this is a really great entry!

Great work! It’s got personality and a nice little story about consciousness and humanity delivered in a short package. Loved the ending too! Definitely impressed with the anime-style artwork. The translation could use some work as you said, but the story came through just fine.

Worth mentioning that I also got confused when entering my name and couldn't figure out how to delete letters. I just named myself "player" and moved on.

@riverc4 That's a really nice and constructive idea. It makes me think that if the game needs some expansion, it’s a good way to reveal more details and narrative in multiple game plus, and that maybe leads to a different (true) ending. Thank you so much for your suggestion !

@evan-minto Thank you for your feedback! I’m sorry that I didn’t make it clear for the controls. Press X and you can delete letters. I’ve updated the guidance due to the feedback : )

Fantastic game and great story! Art was very clean and nice as well! The "maze" had a bit too tight of a time constraint in my opinion, but I was able to get through it just barely! Well done!

Definitely not the type of game you'd expect for a jam. I love good story-based games and this is definitely one. Honestly I'm not really good at giving feedback for story-focused games, but i really enjoyed playing this one. good job!

A narrativa é o ponto forte do projeto e é contada de forma clara.
Parabéns pela ambientação narrativa (e pelo plot-twist).

3 - Cultura:

Analysis...

1 - Mechanics, Learning and Flow:
Very interesting story of your game. The interactions challenged me a little (and the good thing is that there were check points).
The game flow has not grown so much in challenge, but as a first entry in Ludum Dare it is very cool.

2 - Graphics, Audio and Narrative:
Art as a whole was interesting and set the narrative well.
The narrative is the strong point of the project and is told clearly.
Congratulations on the narrative setting (and the plot-twist).

3 - Culture:
The game has a lot to do with science fiction narratives and questioning reality (Matrix, Thirteenth Floor, Ghost in the Shell etc).

4 - Monetization:
I think the game would need a lot of extension if we are going to think about monetizing (maybe implementing it for smartphones will allow you to sell it more easily).
Congratulations!
