The amnesiac adventurer and the Temple of Doom by rockford
There was once a great adventurer...
Long ago, he explored the fearsome Temple of Doom and knew every traps and dangers...
But now, back facing his mission again, he's amnesiac!
How to play:
YOU HAVE TO DIE AND REMEMBER WHERE ARE THE TRAPS. THEY ARE NOT RANDOM. WE ARE JUST FOOL AND CRUEL GAME CODERS...
Use keyboard arrows. Push the gears to activate ancient technology and open doors. Collect maximum gold, catch the statue, do not die.
Code: David (Gamecodeur) Mekersa
Gfx and Animations: Antoine Calas
Made with: Visual Studio / Monogame / Tiled / Audacity
Tiled reader by: https://github.com/marshallward/TiledSharp
Free sounds and music from http://www.gamecodeur.fr
I create all from scratch in around 15 hours of work. Just started with few lines of code to display a sprite. It is my first production with Monogame. I wanted to use this Jam to improve my mastering of Monogame and C# and to create a tile 2D by tile game engine.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description. (you can already find several games from the jam there)
Well done congratulations!
Actually, the traps are not random. The point is to remember the place they are, to avoid them session after session.
I understand for the tiny graphics, another psychotic gameplay choice :)
