💡 Idea:
Who does not like to be productive at work? Everybody does. Me, you, and especially our managers that are crazy for Agile productivity in a SCRUM environment.

You are put in a role of a modern-day software developer, so feel free to spend at least several minutes of your entire working day actually writing code. For this you've got all of the modern, most intuitive, most productive and least infuriating development tools available to you: VSCode and Miserable Troops. The rest of your time you can spend socializing, eating, meditating, and doing way more productive things than coding.

Customers don't like you for the product you make, but for the terrible code that is behind it! That's why they keep coming back for every product update where they hope you fixed old bugs, but you - in fact- have only introduced new ones.

✏️ Theme: Unstable

🏅 Features: - A nightly (unstable) build of Very Shifty Code editor, aka VSCode, provided to you by Miserable - 4 coding tasks that you need to complete, you better believe that they came down to you through hands of several people in the productive hierarchy that have no idea how to code - Clipp-E, ah yes, he's back! Thank you Miserable, very cool - Color salad for color theme, mmmmm yummy pixels - HitHub Airman, the perfect AI to aid you in your development - Replay value, tons of it. You can play with your eyes closed, or maybe with your monitor upside down. Possibilities are endless, really - A breathtaking story line, of your typical day in a software development company, where managers make too many decisions - Miserable Troops, a top-of-the-line communication software, provided to you by Miserable - Chill meditation beats, to sleep/work to - Ç̴̜̪̓͝l̷̙̀ĩ̴͚͆̔p̶̮̞͆̆̿p̴̗̹̊̐̅͋-̵͖͓̘̂Ë̴̛̙͙͔́́̄, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa what are you doing in my house????? get away froₘ ₘₑ...

🎮 Controls: - Mouse to do mouse things - Keyboard to do keyboard things - Arrows and scrollbar to ??? - F10 to fullscreen HTML5 version - F2 to cheat (skip the current task)

@ildenh Typed code must be exact. The case, the spacing, etc

If you were going for absolutely infuriating, you have succeeded. Well done!

Is it terrible that this game makes total sense?

Really funny game but was a bit monotonous to play. I figured since I couldn't press the space bar that they weren't necessary. I probably would have made it so the enter key didn't work and the space bar was the iap. Other than that, really good game.

I now have an extremely strong urge to throw something fragile against a wall.

Well done, would play again.

If you were trying to make a frustrating game, you succeeded.

Seems pretty realistic to me. Really captures modern enterprise-grade™ software development.

What the fuck did I just play.

All of the horribleness of vscode was super amusing. It's great satire (or replication?) of horrible bloated software.

This was a surreal experience. Your app is very unstable. But I see, you had a lot of new bugs introduced in later versions. Great change-log. Fun!

This is too real. I'm tempted to submit it to my manager as an idea of how we could improve.

Fantastic work :bravo:

I definitely wouldn't want to be a software developer because I know how hard it is, and it's definitely not for me. Even when I had to develop real estate software for my company, I immediately contacted specialists from [https://sloboda-studio.com/real-estate-software-development-services](https://sloboda-studio.com/real-estate-software-development-services) because I knew for a fact that I wouldn't be able to deal with everything myself.

It's amazing that now there are so many talented people with really cool skills, ideas, but no development or income, because there is no personal brand that would become recognizable. I found this article 1https://trible.com/blog/a-complete-guide-on-how-to-build-your-personal-brand/11 very handy, because it is a fairly relevant topic for me as well. It is worth using all the opportunities available now.
