Unstabot by M01
Itβs a game where you control a defective robot who changes its form over time. It must survive in a randomly generated dungeon against many dangerous foes. To do that he can use the special abilities of its different states and it can get a special upgrade to give him back its original form.
Instructions and commands :
Sadely, this game doesn't contain any tutorial level (we didn't have the time). That is why you can first find here the inputs for the game :
- To move : Arrows or WASD
- To shoot : Left mouse button
- Special : Right mouse button
Furthermore, you will be able to find your lifebar in the bottom right corner (in red). In the bottom left corner there is, in white, your transformation gauge which indicates the time left before the next state's change of your bot. Around this indicator you will see, in green, the ultimate gauge that you can fill by collecting some green pills which appear when you kill an enemy. Be careful, the red pills will decrease this gauge. Finally, above your lifebar is placed in yellow your special ability cooldown.
Last thing, when you finish killing all the enemies in a room, do not hesitate to go around it to find the corridor leading to the next one, the goal being to go as far as possible in this dungeon.

I noticed the players motion was a little jittery maybe try Updating the players motion and the cameras motion at the same time.
Overall great job.
Nice entry, I could feel a bit of the differences between the different ships I was switching between, I think this could be improved a lot with some added clarity of what the ship's abilities are, and maybe more visual indication of you and the enemies shots? Good job overall :)
Also, the ending is abrupt. It would be nice if there was an explosion and a bit of time to process when you die, rather than just being dumped to the main menu.

The explosion effects are cool, and the music is good too. :) Good job!
Some visual about which weapon you have or get next and what its super attack does would be great in my opinion. At first i thought the ground was made up of maze-like walls, was confused when there was an enemy running straight at me.
