Drifting through the empty void of space would be enough to make any amalgamation of putrid pulsating flesh cranky. Especially with all these ships around - looks like some civilisation or other is upset about your festering appendage oozing all over their doorstep.

It's alright. You have an iron stomach for things like this.

WHAT?

* You are an abomination of adjective-less description.
* A load of ships are flying around your personal space.
* Destroy them.
* Eat the remains.
* Watch out for asteroids!
* Try to get as high a score as possible!

HOW?

* Use the mouse to aim your creature
* Move with WASD or the arrow keys.
* Shoot using SPACE BAR or the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON. Each shot reduces your mass slightly, so if you go spraying too wildly you'll lose a lot of shielding.
* Ships can also be destroyed by running into them.

Tools used:
* Unity3d
* Pixen for the sprites
* Audacity and Bfxr.net for sound effects

* Fonts available for personal use from dafont.com. The fonts used are:
** "A Damn Mess" by Spork Thug Typography (http://www.dafont.com/a-damn-mess.font)
** "Cacavia01" by Ward Zwart (http://www.dafont.com/cacavia01.font)


This is my first real game using Unity, and I'm really happy with it considering. Didn't have time to do music, but I guess the silence might lend it an eerie atmosphere so I'm not torn up about it.

@TwixtorTitan Thank you! It's a pretty simple game, so it only spawns enemies for you to kill indefinitely. The goal is just to raise your high score until you die, but I think I might've made the enemies a bit weak.

Movement control relative to character-to-mouse direction takes some time to get used to.

Nice take on the theme! Movement's a bit tricky at first, which makes it even more satisfying once you get the hang of the inertia and can pull off some great dodges. Fun stuff!

fun. More polished than it looks at 1st glance.
The controls were annoying at 1st but when I gave it a chance it gave it a different feel that was playable.

Nice! It was fun to feel the anticipation of the next wave when the screen was empty. It'd be cool if you added a countdown between waves to encourage that excitement.
