It wasn't until the level 6 that I understood the scope of catch, and it was from this level that catch became particularly difficult.

And a small problem is, obviously the catcher couldn't reach the edge due to the scope, but there ARE rare situations when a ball generates and moves close to the wall, making it impossible to catch.

But anyway, it's a cool game in terms of graphic design :)

pretty neat concept, wonder if we can get powerups and more balls to catch

The collision logic definitely needs some work, but I liked it. It seems 281500 is the maximum score? Sometimes I got 300xp, sometimes I got 500, is that based on time? would a higher score be possible? Either way, I could see this as a touch-based mobile game.

Works nicely and is snappy to play. Some more game play variety would have been nice.

Come on. Please play other people’s games this time, instead of just asking others to play yours.

Quite some improvements you made after the deadline, huh, Jordan?

very addicting and satisfying to play, nicely done! the change from round to round wasn't too obvious although the simple color changes felt slick.

It is rare to see on a jam a mobile friendly game, I like that, good job 👏

Love the aesthetics and the haptic feel of it all!
A bit more variety between the levels would have been great.

Nice little game! I appreciated that I could play it on my phone (first one I saw which proposed that). Maybe the gameplay would have needed a bit more elements (enemies or such). Nice effort for the online leaderboard too.

It really tests my reflexes. Sometimes I try to anticipate, but most of the time I fail. The trajectory of the ball is predictable, and it can be intercepted at certain positions (although there are moments of missing it too). This game is pretty good. As a comp, it’s on point and quick. Great job!

Nice simple game, but i think need to slow down ball when player releases the catcher.

I like the minimalist design. I think the timing/hitbox is a bit too tight: sometimes it feels and look like I was right over the ball, but I still fail. Nice work of the sound design though

Unique spin on a very often seen game type. Wasn't quite sure what I was doing until the second level, seemed to accidentally pass the first level somehow. I'm sure the non-compo version has more gameplay, but the compo version was quite barren in terms of gameplay. The movement didn't exactly match what I would've expected being kinda floaty and inaccurate, but it did keep that aspect at least that a bit more interesting.

Very cool minigame! Was really satisfying to catch! Didn't quite figure out how to tell how well I'm doing, like what my current score is and how many attempts I have left. Overall very good entry though! :)
