I wouldn't call it a game, more of a prototype. Aprox. 1.5 night of work.

Story:

You are a cursed boy, who was exiled from his hometown because of his uncontrollable power. But every power comes at a cost of pain and suffering.
Your goal is to find cure from the curse and return back to your hometown.

Things I managed to implement:

- Proc level generation
- A couple of enemy types
- A mini boss
- Power/Curses system (proof of concept)

Things I haven't been able to add:

- Sound
- Power/Curses system (more stuff)
- loot/equipment/upgrades/inventory

Looking forward to continue working on this game after the compo.

The graphics were nice and worked well. As more of a proof of concept I think it was quite well made. The curse/bonus system was cool and the randomly generated dungeon crawling game is a nice idea. I had a bit of issue with the controls as they felt slippery, yet slow. Other than that a nice entry.

interesting. I like the idea of picking a bonus power and a curse - makes for a lot of interesting possibilities, especially if you have plans to expand this post-compo.
I felt that actually engaging in combat was a little lackluster, though, unfortunately. It didn't feel like there was quite enough audio/visual feedback when enemies or the player got hurt.

I am planning on expanding this game after compo.
Many things I wanted to implement are not yet in the game since I had no time to finish this entry.

Loving the trade-off between picking a power and a curse - makes a lot of sense with the theme. Especially nice that you can pick just one or multiple. The graphics are good and the procedural levels make it fun to keep retrying. Great work.

The power/curse system is cool, the level generation and size seems a bit lackluster ATM. Not sure if this is a bug or not - but when I clear all the initial enemies, nothing appears to happen.

Thanks everyone! There was a problem with exit spawning, which is now fixed by a very late bug fix. Everything works correctly now ( I hope so :) )
