Day #3 Necromarket is complete!

And as if barely any time passed, Day #3 has come to an end and Necromarket is complete. It could be more complete, perhaps, but this is the nature of gamejams. Looking at the difference between the finalized entry and yesterday's game, we made a ton of progress today. We actually have a story in the game now!
I had to spend much of the day at work, but luckily @daanvanyperen managed to wrangle his schedule so he could really throw down the polishing rag and buff up our ga- ...yeah, perhaps it's way too late to talk in silly metaphors.

If you read yesterday's blog post, you've seen me mentioning the large chunk of time I spent on character animations. Today I copied all of those and created alternative animations for when the player carries an item. This makes for about 208 character animation frames in total. I swear, our next game is just going to feature a stationary block or something.
Other than that @daanvanyperen had a list of assets for me to create when I got home from work, followed by a lot of tweaking of existing sprites, and @meatmachine slapped together a bunch more sound effects.
All in all, I am very happy, and very sleepy.
Tomorrow we rate!
