I'm Back

My last game jam that resulted in a finished game was October 2021. Between then and now I've missed jams due to exhaustion, started a jam but bit off more than I could chew code-wise, and started another jam where we bit of more than we could chew art-asset-wise. Very frustrating!

My goal this time is to keep it extremely simple. I feel most comfortable making games in TypeScript and HTML5, but I often have the instinct to use a jam to learn some new skill. So I won't be using this jam to - learn Godot - learn Unity - develop a game with C and SDL - develop a game in Rust, using Bevy - livestream myself making the game - record and edit video of myself making the game

All of these things have tempted me in the leadup to this jam, but I know that if I get distracted, the jam is only 48 hours long, and I can't afford to get distracted and still have time to finish. Making a Thing and having other people experience (and rate!) that Thing is such a rewarding feeling, and I miss it, and I want it to happen again.

Game will be in HTML5 and TypeScript Images will be made with Aseprite Audio will be BFXR/SFXR and Bosca Ceoil
