Happy with core mechanics
In my deckbuilding game, you can either keep, play or summon a card. Summoning a card removes it from your deck, giving you its effect permanently, but it is quite expensive. You can also keep a card in your hand for later when you have better use for it, but it costs you 1 coin per turn.
You have two main ways of using coins: to buy new cards into your deck, or summoning your cards. Balancing these two aspects is a key to victory.
One of your objectives is defeating monsters that give you victory points, but you need swordsmen (or a lot of money) to banish them.

The game is starting to be playable. The next step is designing the cards (which are exported from a Google Sheet), to make the game balanced, challenging and fun!
Really starting to like the direction of this.
Good luck everyone!
