Iโ€™m in too!

For me it’ll be the third LD in a row and I’m very excited what kind of experience this LD will be. As usually I’ll enter the 48 hour Compo.

My tools of choice are:
– Unity
– Cinema4D and Blender (Yes both!)
– Photoshop and Gimp (Yes both!)
– Audacity

WHAT I NEED!
I need a background music generator. I’m not a musician so it has to be quit noob friendly. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Recommendations are welcome! (Please leave a comment.)

Plans for LD #31:
Especially after LD #30 I experienced some flaws in my workflow. Now I’m more experienced than ever ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ll try a different aproach of developing a game. I usually finished my games in the last minutes of the 48 hour timeframe. This happened because I worked on less important before finishing the core gameplay. For example last LD I created a space transport tycoonish game but before I finished the actual transporting, buying and selling features I had ๐Ÿ˜ก to create a techntree for different kind of cargo space ships. A feature that’s a nice thing to have but in a 48 hour timeframe it would have been better to optimize the realy necessary elements. Things that would improve the overall gameplay. So this time I’d like to plan more ahead and not only make a list of ideas. After my planing phase I would like to have an execution/production order sorted by relevance for the game. With such a plan in my hand the core gamplay elements would be much earlier playable and testable (is this a word? :?) and if I don’t have enough time to finish all features I’ll have a playable core game.

If you have any tips, tricks and ideas to improve my workflow please tell me!

So good luck to everyone!
