I’m in for a third attempt!
My previous two attempts were pretty big failures, but for this Ludum Dare I’m sure that won’t be the case. This time I’ll be changing it up quite drastically by using the new and shiny Unreal Engine 4. Hopefully I can wrap my head around the unique workflow in the time before the compo (I just got it today)!
Tools:
- Engine: Unreal Engine 4
- Language: C++/UE4 Blueprints
- IDE/Editor: Visual Studio 2013/Sublime Text 3
- Visuals: Gimp/Paint.NET/Blender
- Audio: Probably Audacity for sound effects; not sure what I’ll use for music (if I need any).
No matter the theme, I have a pretty good idea of the type of game I want to make. This Ludum Dare will be quite the learning experience!
