Version 0.0.0.2 of our “explosive shuffleboard” game

So we’ve been working on developing what we referred to as an “explosive shuffleboard” game. Man did we have some calamities. Both programmers had computer issues, with one reinstalling unity3d and monodevelop to cure a debugger crash, and the other full on having their laptop eat drivers, settings and finally windows fonts (note: manufacturer recovery tools are not always the safest things in the world…). Other than that, we are steaming ahead and should have something bare bones, though probably no show stopper.

Ostensibly a missile commander game, but where the player sends out countermeasures by a shuffleboard style pointer movement, which then explode ten seconds later.

Inspired by a concept of  “Tower defence where you’re defences only last ten seconds” the game core mechanics are finally starting to come together and the possible extra features will be considered soon. We’re hoping for different incoming attack patterns and possibly different counter measure types. Art assets are in production, so all current displays are grey boxed.
