Oh that’s right, I’m in

I spent so much time trying to deciding whether or not to join, that I forgot to actually make a “I’m in” post when I finally decided to join.

Anyway, my name is C.D Buckmaster and although this isn’t my first Ludum Dare, it is the first one where I’ve actually finished something.

My game is made in Flash, and uses GraphicsGale for the sprites.  It also uses the FlashPunk framework (thanks to Chevy Ray Johnston and Draknek) and a modified version of Noel Berry’s Advanced Platforming Engine.  If I get sounds in before the deadline, they will most likely be made with BFXR.

The game itself, “You can’t step out of my way so we must fight”, is a two-player, one dimensional, sumo wrestling game, where each player tries to push the other out of the line.

Two proud warriors, if only they didn’t exist on the same vector, they could have been friends.

As soon as I saw the theme, I thought about the prospects of making a game in only 0ne-dimension and quickly it became the only game I could see myself making.

I’ll save the gameplay details for when I submit it so that I don’t repeating myself.
