I’m in for whatever it’s worth. (updated)

Hi there!

I have been pretty exited about the next LD48. I’m really new to game making, have been practicing for a couple of month with some tutorials but nothing like 48 hours game making  so I hope to hear some good advice on this one (not that I haven’t read almost everything here at LD.com). My gold is to get to one of the finish lines(comp or jam, whatever) and toolchain of choice would be:

  • Unity3D; setting up into a 2d constraint and js scripting.
  • Pixen (since I in Mac OS). It is great since you can use background images and I’m not to good art maker or have a super tablet.
  • CFXR for sound effects.
  • Garage band or some loopy music maker to simplify things around.
  • Orthello (free-version); and this one particularly have never used so second thoughts all over my head. And in the case of using sprites then:
  • texture packer.
so comments very much appreciated. I’m so nervous already! I even spent too many time on this post ¬¬ As it seams to be know I’m going to use also this other 2 libraries/tools/scripts/whatever you want to call them: under my approach to the game making
