LD38 - Theme: A Small World

So, this year's theme is "A Small World". Space constraint isn't exactly my favorite constraint to have but it will help me focus on a feel important things I'm usually guilty of: Large Scale am Ambitious Mechanics.

For this LD I'll try to make an exploration platformer with focus on simple mechanics and level geometry.

I hope to set the game in an valley or island with a castle-like/fort strucuture on the center and one or two more interesting things locations to explore around.

I decided to make the game in "GameBoy Terms", which means I'm using a tiny resolution upscaled to make it easier to play and a 4 color pallete to speed the art asset creation (I'm nitpicky, even with my own stuff).

With this I hope to create the game with little to no problems since my focus will be entirely on art assets and scenario, even though these aren't my strenghs. This will be a nice challenge.
