Rejected names, art timelapse, projection mapping, and a postjam version

How Birds Is Made
We thought it would be fun to show some of how the art for Coo-Coo, Chef! was made.
Our 2D artist (@lexu) drew a bunch of neat birds.

Then I imported them as references into Blender and modeled them. A very easy way to model organic things is by using metaballs to get the general shape, then convert them to a mesh, apply subdivision surface (iterations 2) to get finer geometry, and use the sculpting tools (mainly Grab) to get the general shape.

Then, I use QuadRemesher to get a reasonable topology and "Project From View" to get a UV map that I can align with the base image.

Rejected Names
We are not good at coming up with names and this jam was no different.

Postjam version
We've added a postjam version to make the controls easier and remove some confusion with the input scheme! Please use the original version for rating, but the new version makes the "Move" command move the birds forward instead of randomly, as well as an intro cinematic and fixes some other QoL issues.
Thanks for everyone who played and provided feedback, and we're really enjoying playing all of your games!
