We enjoyed building Ticktock Tactics so much and we've decided to continue working on it. I'm currently redesigning units while our dev is working on rebuilding the back-end.
Here's a comparison, those extra hours you can spend on a piece really make a difference.

Really fun seeing our game running on a handheld device, and good to be able to confirm that our Linux build works!
We also have builds for Windows, HTML5 and Mac! (Although the Mac build is untested)

My LD51 entry, Long Shot, has been updated to V1.1. This update adds a new enemy type, over a dozen new wave types, and several balance changes to make the game slightly easier. A full change log can be found here.

With the new embedding system, I've adjusted my usual approach to post-jam updates. The embedded version of the game here on the Ludum Dare website will remain at V1.0, as will the one on the TIC-80 website, while the versions on itch.io and Newgrounds have been updated to V1.1. As always, you can play whichever version of the game you prefer to rate.
I have a bit of a backlog, but my policy as always is to eventually rate everyone who leaves feedback on my game, so please do play and rate it if you haven't already!

We only need 5 more ratings to reach minimum!!
Let us know what you think and we'll also try to get through the comments to play and rate your game as well :)
I would highly appreciate it if you try out my compo game I've made with my own programming language.
If you want to share your game here, I am gonna Play and Rate it as well.

I also had the honor of helping out at a jam game on the last day.

7 years ago the theme "10 seconds" was released for the Ludum Dare 27 and I tried to participate but I couldn't make it in time for the JAM category with the game "TIME 10", this time I did it again but I'm proud to have made it in time !

Anyway if you haven't tried yet my latest entry don't hesitate to rate it and leave your feedback if you like it (or not):

Thank you to everyone who has played my game so far! I've gotten a lot of really helpful feedback, some of which I've incorporated into a post-jam version. Now you can skip the current season once you've obtained its fragment, see where spring and autumn obstacles will be during other seasons, and travel back to the starting area to return the Soul of Seasons to its proper place!
I'm planning on developing Soul of Seasons into a full game, so if you've already played the jam version and want to play the improved version, you can do so here: https://shimmerscale.itch.io/soul-of-seasons. I'd love to have feedback on it! I'm also going to be making a devlog/YouTube video on how I made the game soon.
If you haven't played the jam version yet, you can do so here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/soul-of-seasons. Due to my OS, I can't play downloadable games, but if you have a web version of your game, I'd like to try it out! I take a look at the games of everyone who comments on mine

Fixed the aspect ratio issue which resulted in the view getting cropped on extra wide screens. While I was add it I also added options and set the default graphic setting lower.
Playing with gamepad is now also working, though I didn't add any instructions for it but its pretty straight forward. Requires shoulder buttons for grabbing and any trigger for throwing. Additonally you can also press thumbsticks for jumping so doing everything at once is possible.
I hope the heart is now beating smoothly when its powered by your machine!

Reminiscing about Ludum Dare and was wondering what other ideas people were considering. Here were ours:
Ultimately, we decided to create a game where something breaks in your home every 10 seconds, and so Home R.I.P.Airs was born. Play here: https://ldj.am/$303168 :point_left:
What other game ideas did you consider?
Also, comment your game below, and I'll give it a rating! I recently created this post (https://ldj.am/$309463), and I'm looking for more games that I can shout out
I'm going to be fixing my LD game and playing a few other LD jam games. Come by and send us a link to yours if you want me to play it!

Ah... the circle of life. Isn't it beautiful? I'm sure we all remember our childhood days - those wistful moments before we became the burgers we are today. Huh? What do you mean that's not normal?!

Your friend gave you a special hen that can lay an egg every 10 seconds. If you can take advantage of this, keep the hen alive and breed her, you’ll become rich.
You won’t have it easy, though, the hen is very hungry and thirsty, and it’s not cheap to feed. Also, if your hens get too many, they can eat all your food and kill all your hens.

You are a rosehip on a journey to sow your seeds.
Equipped with a thorn, you must slash your way through a jagged world of your own creation.

Collect water droplets scattered across a desolate world so your seeds may one day sprout.

Though be wary, your thorn may be your end.

Thanks so much everyone who's played so far! So close to 20 ratings!
I pushed a small QOL update that mainly reduces the camera shimmer I also reduce the tick rate of the ai to improve performance
