Finish line! Game is live, woud love for you guys to try the game!

Limited space is such a cool theme. Our first thoughts were immediately games where screen size is limited, like Tamagotchi games, and then we also had a few ideas on wordplay with the word "Space". We eventually settled on the idea of you, the player, fighting to keep what limited space you have, as the space around you shrinks. Added a couple of things here and there to spice up the gameplay further, and I really think we ended up with something fast paced, fun, and moderately challenging.

Your goal is simple, use your crane to load up the train car with various cargo before the contract time runs out. You're more than up to the task, right?

Well, I couldn't have even imagined participating in this, but the idea took hold of me. I don't have much time to dedicate to it, maybe just 4 hours a day at most. But that didn't stop me. I had to discard a lot, or rather optimize the idea, focusing on the most essential aspects. And I want to say that yes, I did it. In a minimal version, but I expressed the story I wanted to tell. That's great.

As usual, I don't have any sound effects or music. But adding them wasn't at the bottom of my priority list. I even found some wonderful tracks that capture the mood with which this idea has been living in my head. However, I still need to figure out how to work with sounds in Defold.

I also put aside a couple of mechanics that would add some variety to the gameplay. One idea was to make the tunnels collapse as the player progresses and new ones appear.

I hope that what I have done will leave a tiny trace in your heart.

That was quite the scramble to get things completed at the end! I kept getting distracted by side-quests and I should've been focusing on the main-quest instead. :laughing:

Alien Abduction Adventures and Astral Anomalies Abound is a text-based procedural-ish thing where you get to fly a UFO through the galaxy, abducting other aliens as you try and make sense of all these damned space whales. It's my 19th consecutive Ludum Dare entry, on to number 20!

We made this one by learning Godot and krita all from scratch, it was hard it was a rush some time ! And more we tried to make 2D in 3D :boom: :skull:, But at the end we achieve it, its not perfect at all but we are really proud !

We've released an update! Changed the voice and improved the sound!) Also updated the difficulty of the game!)

After two long days of work and a day of other responsibilities we finally submitted our little platformer.

Our idea was to limit the skillslots for the character, so you have to choose carefully what skill to take where and where to drop them, so you can use them at the right time again.

This is the first time jamming as a couple and it's been great! We love our little work and we hope you'll do too.

I made the game in Unreal for the first time and, like a noob, I didn't expect it wouldn't publish for HTML5 and the produced pc builds would be just above LD threshold for the upload... itch.io will do then.

It's quite rudimentary but I had a lot of fun with this. Had so much planned but still quite happy with a finished product at any rate.

First join the LD50 then LD51, but I ended up forgetting to put LD in my calendar so wasn't able to particapate the last year, finally! this time I remembered! and I am so happy, always stressful and less sleep, but the teamwork and result is so worth it.
